AGM NEWS
The AGM of the Isle of Wight Petanque League will be held on Monday, 24th November at 8pm at the Camphill Social Club. Please note there is limited parking available at ths venue.
The AGM of the EPA Isle of Wight Region will be held on Monday 8th December at 8pm at the Bargeman's Rest in Newport.
HAVE YOU LOST SOMETHING ???????
A set of boules in a boule bag were found in the large terrain area at Plessey after the conclusion of the Godbold competition. If you think these are yours, please ring Tim or Jan on 294620 or email timblackmore@talktalk.net and we will reunite you with your boules !!!

GODBOLD FINALS DAY
The following teams qualified to play in the Main Godbold Competition:

After the morning leagues the teams highlighted in bold above went through to the Main knockout and the remainder to the Plate knockout,
The winners of the Main Competition were the Bargeman's Nomads and the runners up were the Ventnor Plonkers. Quarter finalists were the Brighstone Smugglers and the Bargeman's Sails.
The winners of the Plate Competition were the Camphill Rollers and the runners up were the Village Inn Rogues. Quarter finalists were the Fleming Magnets and the Fluking Pointers.
First round losers of both the Main and Plate competitions went through to a Spoon Competition of which the winner was the Prince of Wales Victorias whilst the Hurricane Sizzlers were the runners up. Quarter finalists were the Princess Royal Renegades and the Plessey Plonkers.
Meanwhile the following six teams entered the Godbold Consollage competition:

Old Buckers
Plessey Plonkerettes
After a Round Robin competition the results were:
1st - Wroxall Stars
2nd - Fairway Millers
3rd - Hurricane Paraletics
4th - Prince of Wales Alberts
Joint 5th: Old Buckers and Plessey Plonkerettes.
Team Captains are advised that at its last meeting the IW Petanque League resolved that if a Home Team submits a result late on more than one occasion, then one point will automatically be deducted from that team's score for each subsequent occasion that a result is submitted late, unless there are extenuating circumstances and the Fixture Secretary has been notified of these.
Results highlighted in red on the Results page indicate that a result was received late.
